Check out the wild colors JBL Offers with DD67000 and K2 S9900.

With sound and resale value out of the question I'd probably pick the Blue S9900's on page 7

:)

From the M2 DIY Thread:

They are too big for red, I think.
White, I probably would do myself, to try to blend them in with the walls.

Green would be a nice tribute to 4313b and his hair color! ;)
British Racing Green maybe? :)

Harmon marketing has been watching the threads with the British Racing Green.

My son started college at UC Denver this fall and went to RMAF. I couldn't join him from Virginia because of a band job :(. But, I'll hook up with him next year. :)

I'm a show junkie who has been attending high end shows for decades and there is no doubt in my mind that RMAF is as good as it gets in the US (I hope to make the Munich show some day). Fall is a great time to visit the Rockies, the venue is great and easy to get to and EVERYBODY (meaning exhibitors) shows up. For JBL fans you can't beat the rooms Home Audio Sound puts together every year.

Here are a few pictures from RMAF (same room as above) that my son took, but the grills are off. It looks like they have a carbon fiber look to the fronts of them.

I thought that actually is carbon fiber?

For the price it certainly should be. It's a great high tech look to with the high tech finish.

It is carbon fiber over birch plywood. The DD66000s had leather wrapped over MDF.

If I remember correctly, only the DD67000 has the carbon fiber on the baffle while the DD65000 baffle has wood grain similar to the rest of the cabinet, but my memory could be faulty— it's been almost 4 years. (I now regret not noting that difference in the Everest owner's manual.)

Let's hope they have improved their manufacturing techniques and quality control since the LSR32 then :p
