What does the connector look like? I have a Technics CD player which has a cord with two conductors, rounded at one side, straight at the other side. It is the same as those for several flat screen TV's I have.

It's a standard 2 pin figure of 8 cable, you may have one for your camera battery charger ?

the c-7 power cord being two pin a both ends, what bothers me is pluging in the turntable and puff,up in smoke because it being non polar.

?

If you require the C7P, then it's sorted out for you.

If the non-polarized version, try it in the wall both ways
with all equipment on and see which is quieter.
