I'm posting this in the DIY forum as using the openDRCs is a DIY alternative to the official M2 DSP solution.
I'm in the process of setting up my newly purchased M2s. I've used the FIR settings that POS generously shared. I cautiously tested ( ie using low volume) the outputs from one of my DACs on one of the speakers to establish which was the CD channel and which was the woofer channel. I've done that but the sound I'm getting is certainly not right - it sounds like a cheap transistor radio, and the volume will not go very loud. I get the same results with 2 different amps, both of which are plenty powerful enough to drive the M2s. There is nothing wrong with the DAC as I've tested it in another system. I'm going to synchronise the DIs again to make sure they are programmed correctly but in the meantime if anyone has any other thoughts on possible causes then please let me know!
