Hi,

Have a chance to listen the new flagship 4367. However, its performance cannot completely exceed the dated 4430. A bit of disappointed:(

Hi 4344;

I haven't heard the 4367's yet but having both the 4365's and 4430's I find your observation a surprise.

Will you share your observations? I am curious what you heard.

All the best,
Barry.

Perhaps he refers to the bass response? I doubt he is referring to the Mid and high frequency.

Hallo!

It can't be so bad:confused:

Did you compare it with a same system and same room. I have also 4365 and it sounds great. Can't be so much difference between 4365 and 4367!!

Well, well, right amplifier is the culprit:D

I wonder if the OP listened to them both in the same sitting...
Even if so, individual taste is what it is.

I come back to my 4430s after a few weeks and I'm always surprised
at how well they hold up (you'd think the surprise would wear off).

I could see a poor (relatively) setup of -any- speaker not
comparing well to nicely situated and familiar 4430s, especially
when there's a significant time offset.

Even if so, individual taste is what it is.That only goes so far though. It's really hard to get past the fact that the transducers are so much better in the 4367 compared to the 4430. I highly doubt that G.T. scratched his head and said "Hmm, let me see how I can eff up this system design using these fantastic transducers so the system performance can't completely exceed the 4430 some 35 years after the fact." ;)

Hi 4313B,

Can be that proved by some measurements data, on normal home listening sound level.

In my world, the first sentence is clearly future tense. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Future_tense) ( ie; the event has not yet happened. )

FYI, I support everyone's right to interpret Mangled English any way they wish.
