Looks like Tannoy has closed its Coatbridge factory in Scotland, MUSIC say R&D will relocate to Manchester and all manufacture will now be in China.

Well some of the workers were older than the Queen Mother so what do you expect!

It will be interesting to see how they go with QA and shipping costs

So long apparently to another great company. I had begun calling them "T-annoy" in recent years but that was not intended to denigrate their decades-long history of really tremendous products.

If that's the kind of life those losers want to live, more power to them...Oh, I rather expect they would prefer a house with a two car garage in the suburbs... but as we've discovered it isn't easy to pull off sustainably on a large scale. :banghead:
