Where can I find those project/raffles threads?; it's been so long I can't remember any details

The final results of Project May and wasn't a pair of L100s done as well (to fund it or the site)?

Anyway, I'd forgotten them and would love to see the outcome(s); memory is dim and getting dimmer with each passing day

Photos of works in progress as well as final results (beyond the scope of the Project May Blog which terminates still back in 2004)

Generic search yields too much material to wade through

Any assistance/guidance would be well received

Thank you,
Thomas Wagner

It was a lot of fun reading about it when it was rolling, and had a lot of momentum. I believe that it came down to the tuning of the cabinets but not really sure. I was always really looking forward to hearing impressions of the collective Brains here.

Im also interested in The final results of Project May. One huge reasons for that is that I plan to build a copy of the system, or a system as close as possible to the May system (eg I plan to use other and older drivers)

I have all the of material lists design drawings etc but lack information about the finished project May and the final test results :p

I plan to start a new tread about my project, if I decide to go the May project line................ :)

I would be perfectly happy to just see pictures of the final product

Those and the L100s (if my memory serves) that were raffled off

The L100s that were auctioned off were shown on the forum, if you hunt you should be able to track them down.

As for the Project May "Final Speakers", getting the volunteers to complete the task proved an insurmountable obstacle and the final design was never realized... also Don's interest waned during the decade or so that the project took and they were ultimately replaced with M2s.

Found a couple, memory is coming back a little
Remember it taking forever to get it off the ground (I remember, and found in an old thread today, there were threats to just ePay them)

I'd really like to find out who eventually won them? And the money raised

I'm piecing it together now, tried a different search technique
The problem is, there were about a dozen or more threads started with every new thought, twist, turn and step of the effort

But but ... YOU'RE ALIVE!!

jk - we lost a lot of members over the years ...
I think audio-fans reflect an aging population!

Alive! alive and living in Wisconsin. Beginning to play with my JBL hoard again. A lot of it is still packed up from the move 11 years ago.
Ive missed the old guard and carrying on about JBL dreams.

That was a long time ago. I'm pretty sure it wasnt L-100s though, because I did the refinishing. The ones I did for the fund raiser had wood frames for the grills.....112 maybe? and there was a whole thread on it.
