I have a line on a pair of JBL 2445Js and have always wanted some. If I compare the 2445s to a pair of Selinium D220 Ti ( here (http://www.parts-express.com/selenium-d220ti-1-titanium-horn-driver-8-ohm-1-3-8-18--264-270)) what would make me love the JBLs asside from weight.

To start, the selenium unit is really a tweeter where the 2445 is capable of playing two octaves lower.
If you're going to limit the horn to above 2KHz, and don't want a very large horn, the selenium might be more suitable for your application.

Thanks Grumpy. Good point and I would love hearing it lower. How would the 2445 sound with a wood horn on it ?
