Flush Countersunk Tinnerman Type Washers

Anyone know a source through a normal (accessible) retail seller?

Need the type that just lines the countersunk hole, to spread the load and keep the screw head from gouging/digging into plastic

Need to hopefully stop cracking thin plastic horn mounting flanges

These look like they might keep the plastic from spreading/gouging more than just the countersunk version you show which I would think wouldn't protect much better than no washer at all: http://www.aircraft-specialties.com/tinnerman-countersunk-washer-size-10-50-per-pack-a3235-ss-020/

I have my friend; your link is to a page showing almost exclusively star locking types which will not work

The goal is to keep the head of the screw flush with the baffle as designed

Heavy handed assembly and time have left me little material to work with; again, no room for the teeth

It's not a structural strength thing or any sort of loosening problem, it's about preservation/prevention

Can't tell much from their pictures
There is also a style of flush washer that leaves a very small lip on top (as shown in your second link)
The mechanical drawing I provided was designed specifically for the issue I am having
Problem is, that particular engineering outfit is in the U.K. I believe

As for them working, they work well
When I was on the East Coast I used them to good effect (especially on particle board boxes); the tiny cone will bottom out on the substrate and unless you are simply and idiot (or using air tools to install drivers) they will stop the ingress of the screw head and can better withstand repeated contact (removing and re-installing)
They also inhibit the compression/spreading of soft material like plastics which is what leads to the cracking in the first place

Thin and soft enough to conform to the screw head and the hole. I had an upholstery guy that had them in many sizes but from a hardware inventory that most likely pre-dated the Second World War

I would use the conventional (easy to find) dress type that leaves a smooth "button" above the plane, but as I wrote I would prefer to keep the baffle smooth and original

I too found a number of vendors who (just from reading) can supply, but in enormous quantities that I will never use in this life time. I need 8 of them. I'd be willing to spring for a box of 100 if the price was reasonable. ($54 dollars for 100 washers is not reasonable, .54 cents a piece for a quantity of 8 is) Probably because they are aircraft spec.

No, but thank you Allen for trying to help. All of their stuff (and everybody else I've called) sits on TOP of the piece to be attached. I need FLUSH (want to retain the flush baffle)

This is the type I need, but am having a hard time with agreeing to pay $3+ per washer AND shipping. Someone has to have these at a retail level; I've seen and used them over the years but gave their source no thought (use to see them a lot in automotive trim, years ago, but the little washers were captive)

You might be able to make a "die" and smack a piece of soft metal into it with a counter punch to form the
"FCTTW". A "Red Green" die: Piece of hardwood, aluminum...Drill a pilot hole, countersink said hole to depth/shape
of the FCTTW. Drill a pilot hole in the soft metal. Align holes, smack it, trim it to size.
