Did I bought the righ speakers?

I recently bought this pair of JBL speakers, the JBL L80 MKII, so far I could see from google is that the only difference between the L80 is the fact that the bindingpost are now plastic instead of metal. I paid about 90 USD for the speakers (I live in Europe)

I really enjoy my dad's L60 speakers and from the outside the tweeter looks identical

Hope someone here can clarify on this

Those were never sold in the US so we have very little information. There were a few threads on that series a while back, mostly referencing the woofer as used in the L90 in that series and the L7 here. You might check these out:

or do a Google Advanced search of this site for "L90" and it'll pull up the Danish L80 variant, too.

Sorry not to be of much help but welcome to the group. You have some unique JBLs, at least in this part of the world!
