I left my project out on the kitchen table. Unfortunately, a child that my wife was watching decided to push in the aluminum dust cap on one of my drivers. :banghead: Is there a safe way to take out the dents? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Ouch :crying:
You can try with masking tape or packaging tape, if it fails then you'll probably have to use a vacuum cleaner or vacuum pump, just be gentle.

The bad news is that even if you manage to dent out the dustcap it will most probably still be creased. The best way would be simply cutting it out with a razor knife and replacing it. :dont-know:

Thank you. I will try that. Does anybody sell replacement aluminum dust caps?

I ended up using gorilla tape and that seemed to work. Thank you.
