does anyone know at about what time jbl switched to the metal sliders in preference to the white plastic ones ? I have one with a serial number of 11,450 (5547a) that does have the metal sliders , can anyone hone it down any further than that ?

subwoof set me straight . in case anyone else was curious only some of the pre jbl urei eq's had those sticky white plastic sliders . my question was irrelevant.
