I have 2 vintage Altec Lansing 12" woofers in original shipping boxes. I can't find any numbers on them. I have tried looking them up online and can't really find anything. I am really curious to know when they were manufactured and how rare they are. I would appreciate any info on them including estimated value. Thanks.

The magnet covers look like Jensen. They might be Heathkit US3. Heath liked the green color.

Someone could heve upgraded a system and then stored the old speakers in the boxes that the new ones came in.

Untreated paper surround and stamped frames... very likely cast off after the Altecs were put into service.
