Good morning hard core jbl fans. I have a chance to buy or trade my technics rs-1700 for an altec 5701-b mono block tube amps. 1st how much are they really worth 2nd how good do they sound. I want to bi amp my 4345 thanks

I just found out from the seller the correct model # is 1570 MB. he said the unit has a meter in the middle of the face plate:blink: I google but came up witg nothing:dont-know:

While I be damm look what Mr. Grumpy found . I guess those are what the seller was telling me about. He did say something about the movie theater AND THE UNIT HAD A METER IN THE MIDDLE OF THE FRONT FACE PLATE . thank u.
I will find out later on today but I know for sure he said the model # was 1570MB

Becuse of your input I did not buy the amps. Grumpy u were right the pictures u post of the two altec tube amps were the same as the seller had but after reading up on some info that u guys provided. I learn those amps can be unstable at times . But he did buy my technics reel to reel. He also have a pair of luxman mono block tube amps I am thinking of buying MB-3045 only 45 watts rms
