These JBL 4343's found their way into my home. Before I get them set in place I want to ask opinions about how best to rejuvenate the wood. They are beautiful as is but it's been years since the original owner had put anything on these cabinets other than a dry dust cloth.

put 'turpentine' in the search box and see what pops up.

Thanks to you guys for reaching out to help. I have found plenty of suggestions as I research these links and other threads here on the forums. Will start the process in the next week or so and keep you posted on how they turn out!

Don't overlook the convenience of Howard's Restor-A-Finish and Feed-N-Wax. They work great!

If it hasn't been oiled in years, I'd probably wipe it down couple times with Howards Orange Oil to feed the walnut veneer.
I'd avoid putting anything with wax on the finish just yet. Once you spread a coat of Orange Oil on it will be real shiney at first, but if you oil it down and let it sit a while (maybe an hour) and allow the oil to soak into the veneer, it will get more natural. You can wipe any excess oil off afterwards.
Feed and Wax and similar products are like orange oil with wax added in, they're more like a final prep product.
Feed and Wax will block the pores of the wood, so I'd oil it a few times first before using that
I got Orange Oil at the local Home Depot.
