Stands for 2" drivers

I have a set of 2241 and another et of 2445 drivers, as well as 2350 and 2397 horns. I wanted to design stands that could fit any combination, and to be self standing on the top of my cabinets, while allowing toeasily moved around for improved orientation. Stands can be bolted into the cabinet or onto a larger sheet of wood if needed. There should be extra mounting holes to raise the driver and/or fit a tweeter driver close to the source of mid driver.

Aluminum is 1/4" laser cut and CNC folded.

When using a heavier 2350 horn, the stand can be flipped to offer better leverage.

Aluminum is raw and non anodized. It does have some small scratches because of how the sheets were slid during the laser cutting process. A little bit of water sanding with fine sandpaper of a 3M pad will "eqialize" the finish.

Just a technical question ...
Don't the diaphragms need to basically be stacked to time align them?

I mean, Opimax's JBL 250s are time aligned, and the Dahlquist DQ-10s I just got
make a big deal about aligning all the signal sources to the same vertical plane.

That said, your stands are gorgeous, the work looks great,
and I am quite tempted to get more aluminum hardware from you!

Yes, you can align the diaphragms on the same vertical plan, so that the source of the sound start from the same vertical plan. Or use an active crossover and time align. Which I am doing now, until I fabricate adapters to fit the 2405 on the stands.

I am quite happy with the results. It cleans up the top of the cabinet and I can easily move the horns. And it looks quite cool too ;). It also nicely complements the cool shape of the 2397.

Lee, I was going through these 2 threads and as I stated in the other thread, awesome design and execution. Any thoughts on when the adapters to fit the 2405 on the stands will be available?
