View Full Version : Altec Santiago 878B filters
Hi. The 878B's have another circuit except from the N801-8A filter. I believe that it's some kind of Eq? Anyone who have information and maybe even a schematic?

Hey,
It's the 30904 bridging network which is supposed to bring the different efficiencies of the HF and 411-8a closer together. I've never seen the schematics for that. I'd like to see it myself since I have some Altec Santiago's. I ended up going active crossovers or bi-amping. I'm pretty happy with the result, but I'd still like to get the original crossovers if I could.
thanks,
Doug

Thanks a lot! I will build a new XO after Linkwitz-Riley and add a JBL 077 on top. I'll also substitute the L-pad with fixed resistors :)
