Hi,

Is JBL 2121 compatible with 2123? Yes or no?
Just curious, as I find it extremely hard to find 2121 or 2122 even on ebay these days.

They very rarely show up on the used market. However, the cone kits are still available. If you do not have an original 2121 or 2122 frame, the E110 and the LE10 series are compatible and can be used to have a 2121 or 2122 built at your local JBL reconer, or by LH member edgewound.

The JBL 2123 is not a drop in replacement for either of them.

Thanks for the tip, speakerdave. Actually I've have 2121 in my 4343, but at the moment I'm torn between gettting both of them reconed or just waiting for another pair of them listing on ebay or other used market. As the third owner of this speaker set, my headache is one of 2121 was reconed only two years ago with genuine factory kit by previous owner. The other one, reconed many years ago by the original owner, seems to be genuine except for the dust cap, but again I've no way of identifying its authenticity. So, I'm thinking of getting this one reconed first...
