My first post here, so I'd like to first of all say "Hello!" to everyone.

I just purchased a pair of JBL TI2K speakers in mint condition with stands. I am absolutely amazed by them. However, I find that they really sing with the volume up quite loud, but given the worth of the speakers I'm a bit weary of the possibility of blowing them.

I'm powering them with a Sansui B1000 Power Amplifier rated at 105W/channel, fed by line level output of a highly modified Zero DAC as a DAC/Pre-amp.

Am I right to be cautious on the volume level? or can I safely crank it as loud as I can?

Thanks in advance!

:dont-know:

http://manuals.harman.com/JBL/HOM/Technical%20Sheet/ti2k%20ts.pdf

Tech sheet says up to 200wpc.

Of course if it sounds bad, turn it down!
