This new Philips model is kinder still new only launched last year, with 56” wide, 4 feet 8”.

Questions: I have about this new “Phillips 21:9” is will it have the same (over scanning issues that most other TV sets have had over the years) I don’t mind black bars top and bottom it’s the image width of the film that often gets lousily treated by some half wit who doesn’t know how to frame the film on DVD or even bluray where you end up losing percentage % of image detail.
