Hey everyone; has anyone around this forum had a chance to listen to a pair of these JBL's? Are they worth the time,and money???

he's asking $250.00, most likly get them for $185,3 hr.round trip,from home. thanks

$185 seems fair.

Fine speakers for a HT setup, I wouldn't expect too much out of them for critical listening.

I have owned a pair, and this description is fairly accurate.


Resolution and precission? Not really. Fun? Oh Yeah!

thanks for the info on this model,from what you have said, i think i'll pass.
these sound like there more for h/t use,than 2ch/stereo,and thats what i want,a good 2 channel stereo set. thanks again all.

I'm not necessarily knocking them. I just prefer any modern Ti tweeter to those soft dome, horn loaded drivers in the SVA.

Hi, this is my first post here.
I had SVA 1800 some years ago and had it for three years driving with Quad 405 and 34 pre. I was satisfied with sound it performed but for that price it will sound good, of corse it's not the same as JBL K2.:)
