Pimp My Ride - Altec Valencia Project

Hey All, just wanted to share some photos of my cobbled together Valencias - I assembled all the parts from craigslist and ebay, including the empty 846b cabs, which was a stroke of luck for sure. The drivers/crossovers are 846A (16-ohm version). I decided to have the cabs carpeted because it was much cheaper than refinishing. I thought they turned out pretty well.

How do they sound?
I think I might have refinished them myself before carpeting, but it looks like a nice carpet job.

If they sound good and the cabinet is structurally sound, perfect.
Maybe some day when you get your woodworking skills up and running you can finish them.

Me I just would have paint them flat black, that's about where my skill level is :D
