I found this link at another cite and found it interesting. Apparently, the Cowboys have a few more problems to tackle with the new stadium digs.

A bit more, in FOH's October (http://www.fohonline.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=2945&Itemid=40) issue.

To optimize system response for athletic events, they lowered the hang 90-ft below the strucuctural steel, putting the speakers better on-line with the audience, and added 10 more line arrays to compensate for that move. This increased system cost 60%, so they deleted acoustic treatment from the plan, and instead use system configuration and settings to optimize direct vs T60 effects.

"We knew this decision (deleting the planned acoustic treatments) would make the room very difficult for touring acts...". And of course, a lousy experience for their fans... :(

I'm surprised they used EV drivers.

I'm not here to slam EV but the few times I've heard them in SR applications, they were underwhelming.
