While I am waiting for my SUB 1500 to be repaired I am going to build a pair of companion boxes to handle the rest of the job.

I'm considering using a pair of LE10s, a pair of LE20s and a pair of 075s that I have on the shelf.

The cabinets would compliment the recently completed SUB 1500s you see in my Avitar.

Each cabinet will be approx. 18" wide by 40" tall by 12" deep with an internal volume of around 2.5 cu ft.

This ensemble would handle the stuff above 90HZ I will probably use my RANE crossover and tri-amp the three speakers. I drive the SUB1500s with a Mackie M2600 with its built in 24db per octave crossover @90HZ daisy chained to the RANE feeding the other three amplifiers. I can adjust the other two crossover points over quite a range.

Should I port the LE10s or use a sealed approach? I can reduce the inside volume for the LE10s if I need to.

Any suggestions?[U]

Personally, I think some version of the LE-5 would make more sense than the LE-20 if you're also using the 075. That would keep from pushing the LE-10 too high.

Good Idea... Guess I'll have to look for some LE5s or trade for my LE20s

The 104H2 version of the LE5 would also probably be good, as would the 2105/2105H. There's a chart posted somewhere here in a thread that shows the differences between all the different versions except the 104H2.
