Hello,

First (this is my first message in your forum, so sorry for my language which could be very approximative), i would like to build my own loudspeakers, starting with TAd compression 4001 and a TAD 1601 boomer (like the exclusive 2402 / TSM2) but i have some problems to find informations.

I would like to do it myself, but i do not find the plans of the th4001 horn ? does it really exist ?

I 'd like to transform the 2402 form but to keep the volume. I think this is 170l. But, if i keep the charge, can i change the form as i want ?

What kinf of wood do i have to use : i read that i have to take spywood, but can i use different things (massive wood or else ?) ?

Is it better to buy it ?

Thanks

Guyome

There are no public plans for the TH4001 horn I am aware of but there are one or two people on the planet who can make this horn.

You will find more useful information on some French audio forums such as:

Conveniently you are in France. I believe these folks who are also in France can help you out.
