hey!
first: got another pair of toys: ctrl monitors JBL 4310! yes!!
they will go nicely with my other toys (eg. the beautiful musa):

second, please discuss any details of my monitors as i got them delivered.
serialnumbers are 52064 and 53062, rather strange. the cabs look quite DIY painted, and the screws on the back are interesting too. i even got different screws holding the drivers...
please do comment on these speakers as i plan to hold them, keep them, love them.

thanks for the reply.
i knew the cabs would be original, i was only asking myself about the (sloppy) paint-job. but now i know: its not original, because my monitors are the "WX" version = Walnut Xtreme :D.
i think i will get the paint off some day.
the screws on the back are probably traces from a wall-mount. maybe i will wallmount too, and use them -problem is, i didnt find a good spot to place them yet...
cheers,
mikey

so i got to find out if there is a big difference between the original 2105 and my LE5-5. any information is warmly welcome. yes, warmly, its about 3o°C...

Wow awesome pictures:applaud: Demon, it got all the classics of Frankenstein horror picture. It’s got nuts and bolts, I mean screws. It even had the odd spider web!
I’m trying to remember now who was it now a famous musician, warring a JBL t-shirt that had the JBL 4310 on the front?
By the way how much did you pay for those 4310?
Wow looking at a few Google image listings, that’s the entire JBL 43 series list wow.
Still in current production JBL 4348. This thread is bit of an eye opener!
