Crown Macro MA 1200

Hey Guys!

I am considering this as an amp for my custom L100T3's... I have found this amp to be very interesting as a possible choice. I have included a small spec sheet. All input as usual is appreciated.

Macro-Techs are great amps. I've worked with them "professionally" in SR systems and they are nearly bullet-proof. Lots of touring companies are replacing them because they just weigh so darn much, there always seem to be some for sale—and still commanding good money. They do use fans to cool them so I can't speak to how practical they would be for home hi-fi use. Scotty can tell you how well they kick at the scooter-car emporium and I think a few here may use them as sub amps. I'd love to try one but the fan, the cost, and my impression that I really don't need more than 200-wpc have kept me from spending the money.

It'll be interesting to hear what you think of it.
