Toslink ?

OK ...i do a lot of copying CD's to Minidisc's using standard rca cables ....In the back of my mind I've always wondered if connecting them with TOSLINK cable would be better .....I currently have NO complaint with the current method,,,but tweakers are always looking for that last 1 percent..

Is it worthwhile to try the optical or a waste of effort ?

If you have optical ins and outs, use 'em. It is better and it also avoids D-A and A-D conversion.
