Can someone tell me which L-pads I need to replace the stock ones in my L220/L222's? I have an extra pair of crossovers that I'm going to rebuild.

Thanks

Why not the 100 watt L-pad?

He asked what replaced the stock L-Pad and the link I gave him was the replacement for the JBL 58450 L-Pad.

Originally the L220 used the 10285 L-Pad which could, and did, burn up. JBL put out an L220/L222 service bulletin many years ago stating that the 10285 should be replaced with the 58450.

The 100 W would work fine too so long as it physically fit.

I installed the same 50w L-pad from Parts Express as recommended
to my L222 and ran Carver amps (TFM-25 mono mode) with no issues what so ever :)

F. Y. I. The JBL part # 10285 L-Pad only packs a 15 watt power rating.

So, if JBL put out a service bulletin suggesting an upgrade to a larger L-Pad (part # 58450).

Then chances are you are going to do just fine with a 50 watt L-Pad.
