Hi guys!
I'am the owner of the L200 speakers for 3 years and I'am thinking to change them with a pair of 250ti-piano model
Here is the link: http://cgi.ebay.de/JBL-250TI-TI-250-Jubilee-Serie-High-End-RAR_W0QQitemZ110388400294QQcmdZViewItemQQptZDE_Lau tsprecher_Martin?hash=item110388400294&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1229|66%3A2|65%3A12|39%3A1|240%3A13 18|301%3A1|293%3A1|294%3A50

The looks does not interest me just the sound quality is important so please give me some advices of what should I do.
Thank you very much!

I gave my pair of Black Lacquer 250Ti-Le's to my father about 10 years ago and have been trying to find something better ever since. The 250Ti is the only JBL speaker I have heard that has no significant flaws in any area - great bass, good imaging, fantastic resolution. I don't know of any better JBL speaker without spending much more for the newest models, which few of us have heard. I will leave it to you to decide if this pair is worth approx $2,700 $US, but considering this model type has been out for over 25 years and is still highly sought, I think a really clean pair would be an investment you may never be willing to part with. The advice I would give is that on my pair the Black Lacquer was authentic and easily scratched. Therefore, the pair in the auction may not look as good in person as they do in the poor quality pictures posted. Also, they are very tough to ship due to size, shape, and the lacquer finish, so expect to drive for pickup.

I've driven much farther for less, and would not hesitate, provided the condition is good. Enjoy! :D

Thank you very much for your advise , I have decided to sell my L220 and take the 250ti piano model.I hope I won't be disapointed because I must drive 2000 km to Vienna - Austria to pick up them.
I hope the sound will be improved because this is the main reason I'am making this efort:)
Take care and thank you again for your response.
Best Regard,
Alex
