Greetings!

I am new to this forum. I am an audiophile who has gone through many, many pairs of speakers. About six weeks ago, I scored a pair of Altec Lansing Model 19s on e-Bay and have been listening to them ever since. As far as I know they are stock walnut models--original equipment inside.

I have really enjoyed these speakers--huge sound, very smooth, very detailed.

There is a little veneer loss on the top, but the sound is mighty fine.

Enjoy your music!

Welcome to the forum and congratulations on your recent score. :)

One thing you'll quickly learn about the residents here is that we tend to be a picture hungry group. Any chance you could post some pics of your new additions?

Also, any listening notes? As someone experienced with a wide variety of speakers, what do you note as highlights, strengths, and weaknesses when stacked against other comparable models?

Once again, welcome and thank you for sharing your new acquisition.

Best,
- Mike
