I'm looking into Altec A700XLF (http://www.lansingheritage.org/images/altec/specs/pro-systems/a700/page09.jpg)which have 2x3154-16.
This box is 325l and still it's tuned as high as 43 hz, even though the 3154 (http://www.altecpro.com/pdfs/vintage/SpeakerAndMics/speakers/3154%20LF%20Speaker.pdf)seems to have fs of 24hz.
What I do need is a subwoofer that is usable from 60hz down to 25 and hopefully also 20 hz. Is this possible with this cabinet/woofer if I lower the tuning or is it no good for this cabinet/woofer?
The A700XLF is part of a bigger system I'm about to buy so that's why I'm curious if it's of any use for me or not.
