Flush mounting a square circle driver?

Does any one know a good way to flush-mount a driver that has a square circle shaped frame?

I believe you are referring to the "squangle" style of driver such as the E110, 2123 or the like.

In our shop, we just used the router and made a rabbet to recess the driver flush into the baffle board, knowing full well, it would covered by the grill material.

I suppose if you traced the squangle shape onto the baffle board and when using a plunge router and a circle cutting jig, plunged out the round areas, then used a straight edge for the square portions of the arc. Use a little sharp chisel work, and there you go.

OR...

How about cutting out a 3/4" plywood template of the squangle driver, being careful making a precise closely matched cutout, which could then be used with a top bearing mortising router bit to mortise a bit of the baffle board to the ~3/16" depth for the driver basket to drop into. Then using a circle cutting attachment on the router base, cut out the baffle for the proper diameter for the basket to drop into. Some chisel work will still be necessary for a good looking fit.

The drivers are still in the boxes, sad to say. I'm trying to figure out a better way to build nice veneered enclosures. My mains (2452SL, 2251J and 1401ND) are still in unfinished butt-joined MDF boxes. I'm planning to start with the subs, build new mains, then add center and surrounds. I'll get there eventually!

By they way, thanks everyone for the tips. I figured I'd have to make a template for my router, but I wanted to see if there was another way.
