They don't look like JBL. Maybe ESS.

The shape of the basket almost does say’s JBL.

10” bass mid driver, so it’s case of process of elimination of tracking down all JBL 10” bass drivers over the past 20 years to see which one of them matches the ones you have

I would bet the farm they aren't JBL.

What makes you so certain then?

Hey, Friends,

I'd have to agree, completely. In the years since I got to "know" JBL, I've never seen them use a magnet assembly like the one shown in this post. These speakers look to me as if someone was trying to get some "look" recognition from the various 10" JBL's that have been around for so many years. But, they quality, and the design do not say "JBL", to me. For what it's worth.... Take care, and God Bless!

Every Good Wish,
Doc

Pretty much for the same reason I'd say that's a kitten and not a chicken in your avator. :D

They don't look like JBL. Maybe ESS.Hard to say... definitely not JBL. They do have an alnico magnet and a cast frame, but it's not a chicken or a JBL. :D

They have also had a messy re-surround job done, so the look of the surround which can be a clue isn't going to help.
