in holland a lot of people including myself are using carbon/ coal as a modification. carbon interconnects, carbon resistors in stead of metal film

is this going on in america to?

music sounds more live like, bass respons is better

No, we're too busy here using coal to gain our energy independence. :applaud:

And to defoliate our national forests. :(

I remember back in the late sixties if you're VW bug had a miss, you always suspected the carbon-core wires.

ive always been paranoid to the masses of tweaks audiomanufactors offer you.

usualy for huge amounts of money.

but this has changed since ive been experimenting with carbon resistors and inter connects.

its difficult to describe what i do because of my lack of words for electrical components

making your own inter connect of carbon fibre costs almost nothing .

you buy a large mat of carbon fibre that they use to strenghten the hull of a boat or car. large mats that you can take lose ends of fibre out that you connect to the cinch. use cotton shoe lases as isolator. no plastic stuff

also placing carbon resistors in your plug that you place in your wallsockets.

in fact you short cut them with a resitor of about 10 mega Ohm.between fase and 0
also on your large power condensors you do this.

further more you rub all your cables and outside of plugs with flaxseed oil.
wich has carbon chemically locked inside.
last step put good quality bee wax on every condensor. just melting some drops on everey aluminium tip is suffiecent.

results are truly great. more depth, deeper bass and lots more involvment in the music.

see it as a homeopathic remedy for your audio.

most of you will laugh and make fun of it:bs: but im one of the most down to eart guys here:banghead:

give it a try the oil will dry up and wont leave a mess. its also not able to pass electric current

have fun. it wont cost you much:)
