Hello Widget

Well I guess these must be 14 time better than that!! They have extra high grade spent plutonium gamma shielding to keep the sunspots from make the soprano's from sounding harsh while listening to opera during a solar eclipse.

No kidding:nanana:

You guys are a little too skeptical. These babies have to do a lot! There's a least a mile of crappy wiring from the electrical company to his stereo. And this little baby cleans it all up! :D

I agree that the $1 outlets you get at the home supply stores are pretty bad just from the physical/mechanical construction if nothing else. When I rewired my house the outlets I used were not quite hospital grade duty and cost something around $5 each. I think they were called industrial grade. Some hospital grade receptacles are available with isolated grounds, the ground pin is not tied to the back strap. That could help with grounding noise/problems if the outlet box was connected to conduit or metal flex cable.
All of the receptacles in my sound systems power distros are hospital grade....well a few are the industrial grade.

Hearing the difference in a $145 receptacle :barf:Next they'll be selling silver conductor 12 - 2 romex and audiophile grade circuit breakers!

They lap all this rubbish up in the UK. It's quite scary how far they go. You have amateur electricians here rewiring their own house. Most of the time, their "rig" consists of some 2-way stand mount speakers that aren't even full range. What's the point??

I even heard one person try to explain how their hifi sounds better at night because the power supply from the station is cleaner...ummm, maybe it has something to do with the typical 10dB drop in background noise levels at night.

To divert, can someone tell me what's wrong with this picture (this is an actual product in the UK!!)

Perhaps the 3 pints of Guinness had something to do with it!!!

I lost all hope for the human race after reading this:(That one was a joke... unfortunately the others are for real.

As for the iPod dock and tube amp. I saw a similar product at CES and thought it was cute. I thought it would be fun to pair it with the Tannoy Autograph Minis.
