OK, this is in the realm of the Jet Powered Beer Cooler as far as practicality is concerned. But it is so cool. The site is in French, but the film is without dialog. I love how it begins with a Swiss Army knife. The home made spot welder...

Wow, :applaud: Now if I could only make a surface mount resistor.
I remember as a kid taking tubes to the local convenience store to test on tube tester. Still have that 1951 Motorola TV.

:jawdrop:A great reminder of the debt we all owe to little tinkerers that worked much like this in the very early 20th century, and gave us the foundation of the technological society we enjoy today. I'm guessing that if we had a video of JBL making his first drivers, it'd look quite a bit like this. Wow.
