Just hauled home a pair of Tannoy Autograph Professional speakers.

Late 50s vintage.

60 inchs tall,39 and 24. Has two dual concentric Red 15s in each enclosure.

All componets working.

Price-FREE :D

I"ll post pics tomorrow when I get them outta the truck.

Wow! Congratulations! The Autographs trade for anywhere from $7000 to $10,000 here in Japan from used audio shops. It'd be interesting to hear your story on how you got it for free. Tell us about its sound, too, compared to any large format JBLs you know, as I've never heard them.

And you could hang your clothes in there both for sound deadening _and_ in place of your closets.....

Seriously, though, those are really cool cabinets.

Cheers,

David

Those things are rated at 10% efficiency, for you SET folks, that has got to be some kind of holy grail.
Nice score.

I took that shot purposly to see if some of our pro guys would spot my most recent experiment.

Yet to be tested-Fly stuff and angle plates were a bitch to do. :blah:

Talking head stuff only.We shall see.All of the componets for a reasonable sounding line array are now on the market.
Horn cumulation and hi frequency patterns/extenson are the questions that need to be answered.

Oldmics-Enjoying the old and the new :bouncy:

I noticed the line array too, and was going to ask about it. What size venue are they intended for?

That is the coolest free hi-fi find I think I've heard of yet.

I have seen them on ebay for $14,000 - I think $24,000. They are very desirable. I did not see the drivers in the pics, are they in good condition?

Review this sellers feedback. He is for real, and so are his prices.

Congrats on the score of a lifetime!

Oldsoundz-drivers and crossovers are perfect

Believe it or not this is my second best score-The best score were my two Paragons (now gone) that were part of a wierd deal for free.

Bo and Mike-Gonna be used for talking head gigs with lite canned music playback. The real plan is to make as much money as I can. :applaud:

1000-1500 head capacity long rooms.Either fly em or crank them up on Genie lifts.

The internals are not real special

Hi Freq is a new gizmo-not quite correct and its construction leaves a lot to be desired but I"ll let you know how awful after we measure it.

Its a B&C ME 102

http://www.bcspeakers.com/index.php?sez=1&categoria=5&id_descrizione=47&prodotto=192

and matched driver

B&C DE 400

Just playin around-Built and even dozen

worst case is that they will end up as front fills on the stage.

That kills me. Congrats on your Paragons as well. I have never experienced either the Autographs or the Paragon, but I am sure I would prefer the Paragon. Mainly on looks alone. And just about every JBL I have heard have sounded good to me.
