A skilled one.
I am restoring a Columbia Grafonola. The platter wobbles up and down on the horizontal plane. The spindle is true. The platter interfaces with the spindle assembly via a brass cone, attached to the spindle, received by a correspondingly shaped hole in the platter. I am 95% certain this hole has become malformed, but the platter may be warped as well.
Any recommendations of an individual or shop capable of this level of metal repair would be greatly appreciated.
Regards and thank you,
Craig
