They were described as old theater speakers from the 1920's. 3 feet long.

Several companies made these "directional baffle" short horns from the 1930s to 1950s. Most of these just loaded a cheap cone driver into a short flare, but RCA made some deluxe ones with big motor/phenolic cone drivers and concentric slit phasing plugs. These Atlas units were listed in a 1939 radio supply catalog.

If it wasn’t for the picture below I could have sworn they where church bells, the bells the bells, so there Altec horns they look very vintage.
