The decission between JBL 4428 and Tannoy Turnberry

I've used JBL 4410A for many many years, recently I will move to my new apartment, and I'm using 4410A for my home theatre with another 3 pairs of 4408A.

So, I have to buy one more pair of speakers for listening music.

I have to chosse one between JBL 4428 and Tanny Turnberry, but it's hard to me, could anyone help me on this?

Besides the fact that most here are loyal to JBL's, I think the overall timbre of the 4428's would likely be closer to your other JBL's than the Tannoys would.

I personally would go for the 4428's just to have an ntegrated all JBL system...

Personally, I've always had a preference for two-way systems but not with 10'' woofers.:D

The 4428 is not one of JBL's shining lights in my experience. Try to aim higher if you can - maybe buying vintage or used.
