Armed only with a lathe, I need to couple a 1.5" exit driver to a 2" entry flare, whilst loosing as little as possible HF response. How long should the coupler be, and is a straight linear expansion OK (a cone) or is an exponential expansion required ? Also, would the power handling of the 2435 be as good as the 2441 which (for weight's sake) it is replacing.
Cheers
Mike.

Metal lathe, or a wood lathe? I am not sure you could turn something short enough only in wood and have enough lip to mount the adapter to both the horn and driver.

This place sells an inexpensive adapter that you could duplicate in brass or aluminum with the right lathe, if you felt the need.
