I'm building a reply of JBL 4612 for my AV central channel. I have the 4612 plan of crossover: I know that in the 4612 are used two mid woofers JBL 2118j 16Ohm not 2118h 8Ohm. I'm looking for second hand components to save and my question is: if I should find 2118h may I use the same crossover with the woofers not in parallel? Is it possible?
Thanks

No, look again at the schematic. They are not merely in parallel, one of them has a low-pass filter. You can't make that happen wiring them in series....

Change L1 to 0.6 mH for 8-Ohm woofer.
I don't know what the consequences of having 4-Ohm LF and 8-Ohm HF will be.... :dont-know
