Experience on swapping 'phragms on 2450??

I'm in the process of changing from 1" to 2" drivers in my set-up. I just found a pair of 2450 fitted with 2440 Al diaphragms instead of the standard ribbed Ti ones, they do sound real nice however, very smooth and quite extended. Does anyone here tried swapping diaphragms on 2450, any feedback? THe original diaphragms are a lot cheaper to get over here than 2440's, so I'm might try them anyway in the future, but I was curious of anyone experience of this type,
