Hello,

I'm new to this forum but I have read a lot on this site, it's great!

I was lucky to inherate the following components, all almost brand new:

- Four JBJ LE15A ,
- four JBL 075 Tweeter,
- two JBL LX-5 crossovers,
- two Altec 802D with horns.

I'm thinking about building a set of 8 cubic feet enclosure for the LE15A using the plans on this site, building smaller one for the 802D to put on top of them, and use the LX-5 crossovers.

Would the LE15A and 802D be a good combination or would it be better to sell the 802Ds and try to find some LE84s and N7000s?

Thanks for your help.

You could use the LE15/802Ds combo due to the 802D goes down to 500Hz.
You should have a x-over point at ca 800Hz maximum for the LE15. Found this:

and a Lancing x-over:
