Hello All,

I hope this post finds you all happy and well.:bouncy:

Recently I took advantage of a good oppourtunity and acquired a pair of JBL 2404 baby butt cheek tweeters. Has anyone experimented with these in an MTM arrangement of these with two 2105s or LE5s mids to handle everything above several hundred Hz- maybe 4-500Hz. The wonderful part is that the LE5 and 2404 are both 130mm wide so this should make for a compact mid/high enclosure, letting a seperate 2235/2245 handle the rest. I could try it with an active crossover as I already have one for test purposes. Maybe there is a JBL model that did an MTM like this- I haven't seen one.

All thoughts appreciated.

Another member here did it with the larger 2342 and a pair of 2118s.

The two mids were spaced widely enough that it was not necessary to rotate the horn.

I've never heard it, but he likes it very much.

The dispersion and power response of biradial horns is a natural for centers, in my view.

I would go with 115h-1 if you can. Thats the 4406/L20t woofer. They will get you a good bit lower than a 2105
