Question on a phase inverting preamp w/L300's

I came across a Cary SLP30 preamp that is phase inverted. The manual states that the speaker leads need to be reversed and I am curious if this will have any effect on the L300's, the amp I am using is a Perreaux 2150b amp. Is this good, bad or does not matter?
