Walking thru the shop today and I caught a strange angle of a bunch of sub cabinets in construction for next years fiascos and thought I would share it with you guys.

The many layres of speaker hole cutouts were arranged in an unusual fashion that caught my eye.

So how does this relate to JBL ???????

They are Concert Series 4842A knockoffs.Soon to be fiberglassed :bouncy:

Oldmics-covered in sawdust these days :blink:

Damn California guys.They just want to remind us that they have ALL of the warm weather :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: .

Its heated.Gonna use 2241s as I have a boatload of the frames awaiting recone kits.

Touring boxs ???? Well not REAL touring.Just supplimental as ground support for festivals and such.More as of a compliment to the flown stuff that we can array,but definatly mobile gear.

Either the TCS Line Array (flyable subs) or the E.A.W. 695s and ground support subs-Depends on the gig.

Living here in Minnesota, a "big heater" was one of my wife's pre-marital requirements. :rotfl:

Sorry, the sick-o in me could not resist...

On topic, I'm not up to speed on what the subs are for...any help for the slow amoung us?

We are just using 2X4s.

Trying to find straight ones is the challenge :banghead:

I milled down larger boards to get straight bracing since most lumber is junk today. For what wood costs it could at least be straight and have tighter grain. I measured 3/16 " between grain on one board. They must be feeding the pine trees steroids.
