Hi new here hoping some one can help I think my tweeters have blown in my control 5's both of them.any idea's how to fix them or where I can get replacement parts.
I took it apart and the copper seems brown in colour and a bit smelly.
I'm a newbie to all this speaker stuff so any help would be great

hmmm odd how thay both seem to be blown...did'nt even realize until I wired them up and thay sounded like old dustbins...what about replacing them any thoughts,.where I can find them,.shops ect spare parts.

yes I am reading up,thought there might be a cheaper way to fix them but there is not.

There've been some Control 5 parts on eBay in the last couple of months, but they rarely appear....

yer I have been looking.! was hoping just to get the diaphragms but I dont think you can.
I'll see how the refoaming go's,if all works out well I shall purchase a new set.
