Hi all
I thought some of you might also make use of this.
I'm sure theres a lot of devices out there that assist in joints but a simple yet efective tool which has helped me, can be made at home with scrap MDF, see pics below.
It allows full access to the joint whilst securing both pieces to a 90 degree table, excellent for that last bit of tweeking & also for removing any excess glue. The holes allow for clamping differant sheet sizes, this one is around half a meter, I'm in the process of making another one that will take up to one meter. I still have to fit 2 strips of 1" x 2" pine for the table to sit on. This will go under the base & up the back allowing you to turn the table over for further joint inspection.
Any one else out there with some helpful aids that are cheap or free to make ?
Cheers Wayne.
