The turntable on the HK3480Z rcvr is recent purchase(Pioneer PL-516) and the 3480Z is currently just there, not being used. I would not recommend stacking equipment if running the rcvr.
The Marantz 2216B is on my Audio Note cd player which has a sturdy chassis and the 2216B is not that heavy.
Note the "wall of foam" panels behind the audio gear. Takes away reflections that are very annoying in a 12' x 16' room (SMALL).
This system is temporary, the speaker cabinets are from Bill Epstein who built them to make a clone of the Altec model 19. 2226J and 8068A/811B @ 1.6khz crossover (Pi speakers crossover).
And of course the "Mother of all subs" JBL 2242 18"!;)
Future system will have:
LE14H-1's in 4 cubic ft ported cabs for sub duty
E-130 hybrids in 2.6 cubic ft ported cabs for midbass/midrange duty(approx 80hz to 800hz)
Great Plains 399(Altec 288 clone) 1.4" driver on 500hz Edgar round wooden horn(800hz and up)
Sub duty will be solid state amp and crossover.
Midbass/midrange/HF horn will be run off DRD 300B monoblocks.
I hope to have that system running by Sep 06.
Nothing fancy, just wanted to show some pics!
Regards, Ron

But the bed the pics of the DRD 300B's were taken on have a box spring using 4 JBL 4648 cabinets(sans drivers of course).
Fits a "full size" mattress perfectly. And also is a good storage place as I am limited in that capacity.
Mike - Did you get your Sub 1500 cabs yet????

Nope, not yet. Got the PS series going, with a new DLP projector, good picture, good sound for HT. Also no longer working at the place I was at for 21 years. Looking for job.
What is Epstein using for speakers now?
